Therefore we are pleased to let you contemplate bringing your own beverages and servicing your own wedding if it makes things more affordable. However, if you want a trouble free option, we will of course provide bar staff or indeed, lay on a full bar service. </div> <bR> <div> <B>Access:</B></div> <div> The Racecourse offers simple access to all the lawns (for marquee weddings) and function room areas. No need to carry the bride too far! You can drive right up outside the main entrance. The Club Members car park offers free and easy parking for up to 500 cars. There is also simple disabled access.</div> <bR> <div> <B>Our Best Room: The Winning Post Lounge</B></div> <div> There are not many venues in Dunedin that can cater for large gatherings in such a tremendous environment. The recently refurbished, fully carpeted and tastefully decorated, Winning Post Lounge is the flagship room at The Racecourse. It is suitable for groups of 300 people seated or up to 500 standing. It is a glass fronted, two-tiered room, facing the grass race track with amazing unimpeded views of the hills making the best of the racecourse's tranquil setting. There is a large bar area and a brand new wooden dance floor. The area is serviced by multiple toilets. It also has easy wheelchair access.</div> <bR> <div> <B>Other Room Choices: </B></div> <div> The Great Sensation Room is ideal as a reception area for all your guests, as it leads into the Winning Post up a short run of steps. It looks out to the parade ring and the paddock lawn.
